As a brand photographer based in Huntsville, Alabama, I have the privilege of working with business owners who care deeply about how their brands show up — not just visually, but strategically.
Each year, I take time to reflect on the work created alongside my clients — the planning calls, the intentional shot lists, the trust built, and the imagery that continues working long after a session ends. That reflection has become The Kia & Co. Brand Honors.
These honors are not about favorites or rankings.
Every client and every session matters. These honors simply highlight different facets of the work we created together this year.
From Huntsville and Madison to projects that took me on the road, the 2025 Brand Honors celebrate how thoughtful brand photography supports real business goals.

Some of the strongest brand sessions begin long before shoot day. These projects were rooted in clear goals — often tied directly to website builds — where every image had a defined purpose.
This year’s honorees include:
Elite Embroidery & Screenprinting
As this Huntsville business refined the clients they wanted to attract, we worked alongside McWilliams Marketing to create imagery that showcased their team, production process, services, and products — supporting a more focused and intentional brand presence.

Restore Collective Co.
With a detailed shot list in place, this session focused on building e-commerce and custom stock imagery to support the launch of a new online store.

Pilates by Valerie
In partnership with the Waves of Change grant team, we captured imagery across multiple locations in Philadelphia to support a thoughtfully curated website as part of a comprehensive service grant that addressed multiple facets of the Pilates by Valerie brand.

Brand growth often shows up quietly — through clearer messaging, more confident visuals, and consistent storytelling.
This year’s honoree includes:
LeeHouse Homebuilding
After bringing us on to lead social media strategy, LeeHouse underwent a clear visual and messaging evolution. Through a refined brand voice, new imagery, and elevated graphics, their content now feels curated, confident, and still authentically warm — a strong example of strategic brand growth in the Huntsville market.

The most effective brand photography supports launches, seasonal planning, and long-term marketing strategies.
This year’s honorees include:
Esty & Co.
Each product session was intentionally timed around launches, balancing seasonal storytelling while maintaining a consistent brand look.

Sultry Company
Imagery was crafted with a soft, feminine, and approachable aesthetic to align with the brand’s positioning and overall customer experience.

Brand photography is most powerful when it communicates experience, not just appearance.
This year’s honoree includes:
Nava Aesthetics
Dr. A’s vision was for clients to know exactly what it feels like to walk into her office. The imagery focused on atmosphere, ease, and connection — telling a clear story of the patient experience before clients ever book.

Vanessa’s work centers on telling the stories of military spouses through her paintings. Photographing her in her studio allowed us to capture her process in a deeply authentic way — surrounded by colorful, natural props and multiple mediums as she worked. The imagery reflects not just what she creates, but why she creates it, honoring both her craft and the stories she tells.

Creating imagery is only part of the equation — using it consistently is where real value shows up.
This year’s honorees include:
Trustmark
Imagery was used strategically across billboards and advertising placements throughout the Huntsville area, bringing the brand into high-visibility spaces across the city.

Livano
Photography featured throughout Matter, the company’s internal quarterly magazine, supporting brand storytelling at scale.

NuAngel
Images extended into packaging and graphics used across major big-box platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, and Costco.

This year marked a meaningful expansion into commercial real estate photography — blending lifestyle storytelling with strategic imagery designed to support leasing, marketing, and brand positioning.
This year’s honoree includes:
Commercial Real Estate Photography
Examples of this work include:
Anthem House
A lifestyle-driven approach highlighting amenities and common areas, bridging hospitality, real estate, and brand experience imagery.

Consistency builds trust — and trust builds stronger brands.
This year’s honoree includes:
InTown Partners
From Downtown Huntsville headshots to brand sessions across the city — including The Trilogy Hotel, client events, holiday activations, and print marketing — this partnership reflects what’s possible through long-term planning and consistent visual strategy. Their team continues to use imagery thoughtfully to support both agent visibility and overall brand presence.

Launching something new is easier when visuals match the momentum.
This year’s honorees include:
Blaze Solutions

Lisa Lenderman
A new chapter as a physical fitness coach — with visuals that reflect alignment, confidence, and purpose.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest impact.
This year’s honorees include:
Alabama Closing & Title
The team selected The Vista’s resident lounge — a versatile location that perfectly matched the brand — allowing for multiple cohesive vignettes without sacrificing consistency.

Keyfinders Group
Thoughtfully chosen props (yes, including donuts) supported social content that feels approachable, local, and human.

Grace Girl Beads
By combining people and product, imagery placed jewelry into real-life context — clearly communicating size, color, shape, and materials so both retailers and customers know exactly what to expect from their quality pieces.

While Kia & Co. proudly serves businesses in Huntsville and North Alabama, some brand stories require travel to the place where the brand truly lives.
This year’s honorees include:
Frances Sagun, Realtor
Photographed in Honolulu, positioning Frances as a true local — a real estate agent who lives, works, and knows Hawaiʻi deeply.

Marceline Mercantile
Disney-inspired products photographed at Disney World and Disneyland, bringing the product into the lifestyle that inspired the brand.

Messina Inn
Hill Country imagery in Wimberley, Texas supported website content, SEO strategy, and social storytelling for this boutique hotel and wedding venue — all grounded in the charm of the town itself.

The Kia & Co. Brand Honors reflect what I believe makes brand photography valuable: intention, strategy, and trust.
While many of these sessions took place right here in Huntsville and Madison, Alabama, others required travel — always with the same goal: creating imagery that supports how businesses grow, market, and show up with confidence.
If you’re a Huntsville business owner looking for brand photography that goes beyond “pretty pictures” and into purposeful storytelling, I’d love to help you plan what’s next.
