Northern Neck Popcorn Bag released their newest product, subscription boxes, and it truly highlights the best of this amazing gourmet popcorn brand. Each month this curated box of 3 seasonal flavors is sent to their subscribers, allowing them to enjoy the amazing popcorn each month.
Backend schedule of planning and shooting this product
On the back end, Terri, the owner of Northern Neck Popcorn Bag & good idea fairy, has had to keep extra organized. Already having her list of flavors outlined for the next few months, her team has to produce the month’s flavors & she sends them to be photographed around the middle of the month. Knowing that it’s coming, I will usually reserve one afternoon in my studio to photograph her products to ensure Terri has the time to release the next month’s flavors.
Images for context of the season & flavors
In the product listing, the carousel of images always contains photographs that show the flavors in context of the season and/or flavors, so that clients will just drool over the images because they can imagine what it must taste like.
The product photography shot list looks something like this:
- Full styled shot of each flavor in bowls & in bags
- Shot of the packaged popcorn in the box the client will receive it in
- Packaged popcorn as a layflat
