When you’ve built a career around helping others feel at home, it shows. Frances Sagun is a seasoned Honolulu real estate agent and property manager with over two decades of experience serving buyers, sellers, and investors across O‘ahu. As the principal broker of Royal Realty, she brings not only market expertise but also a grounded, concierge-level service rooted in local knowledge and aloha.
Frances is known for being more than a Realtor—she’s a trusted guide through the many layers of Hawai‘i real estate. From military relocations to senior downsizing and investment properties, she’s walked clients through every scenario. When Frances reached out about booking a brand photography session, I knew our goal would be to capture her depth of knowledge, professionalism, and approachable energy—all within a cohesive, polished visual package.
Yes, I packed my gear and traveled to Honolulu for this real estate agent headshot session—because the right imagery is worth the trip.
Frances was preparing to launch her new website and needed headshots that could work just as hard as she does. Her goals were clear:
And here’s the thing many business owners overlook: the best images don’t just fill space. They tell a story. We designed this Honolulu real estate agent headshot session with intentionality—focusing on how Frances planned to use the images and what her ideal clients needed to see. By mapping out her marketing calendar and communication goals in advance, we ensured she’d walk away with content that supports her brand long after shoot day.
You don’t need 5 locations to create diverse content—you just need the right space and a thoughtful plan.
We shot the entire session inside a penthouse suite in downtown Honolulu. With floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping views, we were able to use natural light to its fullest. The space offered clean lines and neutral backdrops—perfect for keeping the focus on Frances while giving her images a consistent and elevated feel.
To give her variety, we switched out outfits and staged her in different parts of the penthouse. One outfit leaned professional and polished, great for listings and formal marketing. Another added personality—more approachable, ideal for Instagram posts or video thumbnails. With smart styling and strategic pacing, we were able to create multiple “mini-sessions” in one, all tied together by consistent lighting and aesthetic.
This is how I work with all my clients: I don’t just show up and click the shutter. I help you build a strategy around your content so your photos work for your business.
