When Lauren and Thomas Kreps created Baby Star, they weren’t dreaming up a product in theory—they were solving a very real challenge they faced with their own children. Like so many new parents, they found themselves changing diapers and outfits in the backseat far more often than expected. Their kids would slide into the angled nook of the car seat, making an already stressful moment even harder.

Born from that lived experience, the Travel Star Changing Pad became a patented, portable solution designed to make on-the-go diaper changes safer, cleaner, and more comfortable for both parent and child. As Baby Star prepared to launch across Amazon, Shopify, and Faire, they needed baby product photography that felt elevated, intentional, and trustworthy—mirroring the thoughtful care behind the product itself.

For Baby Star’s launch, we began with a clean, minimal in-studio setup—ideal for e-commerce platforms where clarity and consistency matter most.

These images were designed to support a full Amazon carousel and Shopify product gallery, giving wholesale buyers and new parents instant confidence in what they’re purchasing.

The second phase of the session took place outdoors with real vehicles—a truck and a small SUV—to showcase how versatile the changing pad is across different family lifestyles.

With soft natural light and an airy aesthetic, these lifestyle images speak directly to parents who want solutions that make everyday moments easier and more comfortable.

Portability is the heart of the Travel Star Changing Pad, so we captured a full sequence that tells the story visually.
These images are ideal for both social media and product listings, helping Baby Star quickly communicate value in a crowded baby products market.

This session was calm, intentional, and highly collaborative—reflecting Baby Star’s commitment to creating a product born from genuine parenting needs. With clean styling and structured shot planning, we produced a versatile library of images that supports:
When founders create something from the heart, the visuals should honor that. This session brought together strategy, clarity, and emotional storytelling to prepare Baby Star for a confident launch into the market.

Baby product photography requires a balance of clarity, safety, and emotional resonance. Parents and caregivers want to understand exactly how a product works, but they also want to feel trust and connection. That’s why a mix of clean e-commerce angles and lifestyle storytelling is essential—together they show both the function and the heart behind the product.
Lifestyle images show how a product works in real-world scenarios. For Baby Star, demonstrating diaper changes in an actual car seat helps parents instantly understand why the Travel Star Changing Pad exists. These images increase conversion rates on Amazon, Shopify, and Faire because they answer questions visually before the customer even asks them.
A strong session starts with strategic planning:
The clearer the plan, the more versatile and impactful your final gallery will be.
