Salt + Paperie, founded by designer Jacki Gil in Huntsville, Alabama, creates bespoke stationery for life’s most meaningful moments — from weddings and celebrations to the holidays we look forward to all year long.

For this year’s collection, Jacki envisioned christmas stationery product photography that felt both polished and personal. The goal: to showcase each design’s craftsmanship and charm through imagery that evokes the warmth, texture, and joy of the season — ready for use across her Shopify site, social media, and website portfolio.

Planning the Session

Having partnered with Salt + Paperie for years, Kia & Co. has developed a shared visual language — clean, elevated styling that lets the paper speak for itself. For this holiday product photography session, every setup was thoughtfully planned to celebrate the details:

• Capturing front and back views of each card for clear e-commerce presentation
• Selecting props that scale proportionally — sprigs of pine, soft ribbons, and simple seasonal accents
• Shooting in both portrait and landscape orientations to serve varied marketing platforms

Consistency is at the heart of Salt + Paperie’s brand identity, so each frame echoed the studio’s refined yet inviting aesthetic — festive, but never fussy.

The Experience
