Capturing the Magic of Marceline Mercantile
Every once in a while, a session feels like stepping into a dream job—and Marceline Mercantile’s brand shoot was exactly that. I joined forces with Jacki, the creative mind behind the brand, to bring her Disney-inspired lifestyle products to life through a custom Disney inspired merch brand session.
Marceline Mercantile is a love letter to Walt, to Mickey, and to all the magic in between. Jacki’s shop is packed with nostalgia, intentional design, and details Disney lovers immediately recognize. For this session, our mission was clear: create imagery that speaks directly to her dream customers. Not generic. Not overly styled. Just right for a brand that knows exactly who it serves.
The Goal: Custom Disney Stock for a Magic-Filled Website
When Jacki and I met about this session, one of her top priorities was creating evergreen content. She didn’t just need product photos—she needed imagery that would work like a library of Disney stock photography that only her brand could use.
We thought through every detail. These images would be used across the Marceline Mercantile website, for future launches, social posts, email campaigns, and more. That meant everything needed to feel cohesive, on-brand, and versatile enough to use throughout the seasons.
Real Magic, Real Products, Right Inside the Parks
To bring it all to life, we shot Jacki’s products on location at Walt Disney World. Yes—we photographed in front of the iconic Spaceship Earth at EPCOT and just outside the Magic Kingdom gates. This gave her products real-world context, especially her signature sticker collection that celebrates the countries around EPCOT’s World Showcase.
It’s one thing to design Disney-inspired merchandise. It’s another to show it in the magic. This session did just that, and now Jacki has an image library that matches the joy and wonder her customers already feel.
