A Hospitality Brand Session at Messina Inn
Messina Inn isn’t just a beautiful place to stay—it’s a boutique hotel and weekend wedding venue tucked away in the heart of Wimberley, Texas. As their digital marketing partner through Huntsville Design House, we work with the Messina team year-round to create content for their website, social media, and advertising.
This session was all about their hospitality brand and what their audience needs to see. We needed images that clearly communicated the experience of staying at the inn—the peaceful setting, the proximity to the river, and the balance of luxurious yet natural charm. From the views of the creekside grounds to the details that make Messina Inn special, every photo was built with intention.
We kept the goals front and center: create content that shows guests what it’s like to be there, speaks to their different audiences, and gives the team visuals they can use across platforms. When you know how your client will use the images, it changes how you plan the entire session.
Building a Hospitality Brand Through Local SEO
Competing with national travel booking sites is no easy task—but the Messina team knew they didn’t need to outspend the big brands, they just needed a different angle. That’s where we came in with a content strategy built around local SEO.
We shifted our focus to creating blog content centered around things to do in Wimberley. From hikes to swimming holes to downtown shopping, we featured activities and attractions that aligned with the type of guest Messina attracts. Our hospitality brand session was designed to complement that strategy—with photos taken at Wimberley landmarks, nearby parks, riverfronts, and hidden gems.
These community-centered images give the Messina team the ability to create blog posts, guides, and social content that taps into what travelers are already searching for—then introduces Messina Inn as the perfect place to stay while they explore.
A Custom Content Library for Months of Use
Our third priority was planning for future needs. When you’re working with a hospitality business, your imagery needs to reflect the seasons, guest experience, and what’s happening in town. This session was built to give Messina Inn months of relevant content.
We created custom visuals of key SEO-friendly locations, including Old Baldy Park, Cypress Creek, the downtown square, and local swimming spots. Each location was selected based on the keywords we’ve been targeting in our blogs.
The result? A cohesive content library full of images that match the messaging, tone, and topics of their digital strategy. And because we planned with intention, every image supports a real business goal.
