Kadi has been baking professionally for 12 years, creating baked desserts for weddings, birthdays, retirements, anniversaries, and special events. Kadi thought that it was really important to showcase the many things that her business offers in the way of baked goods. Cakes aren’t the only yummy offerings that she custom makes for her clients, her menu includes tarts, canolis, macarons, and then list goes on and on! Throughout her whole shoot I always kept in mind the ways that she could use her images for her social media needs…images that automatically sparked a caption!

Sharing the heart behind your business is really what pulls your audience in and makes you relatable. Kadi did an amazing job of bringing props that had a lot of sentimental value that she looks on for inspiration and motivation. One of the special pieces she brought to her shoot was her grandmother’s recipe box…I mean, how special!! She also brought us eggs from her own chicken coop and honey from her own bees…talk about homemade through and through!
