Paper Petals Co. is the creation of Thao Hoang, the hardworking and sweet personality behind this wildly successful brand. Her goal for the business that she started as a sophomore in college, is to deliver beautiful flowers to brighten up your home and bring a smile to those you love. Her flowers are so lovely that you forget that they aren’t real…making you smile when you realize that you get to keep them for years and years in your home. I have so many of her florals all around my home and showroom and they truly make me happy.
Three years ago I was looking to connect with other creatives in my community by collaborating with them. I needed to market weddings and Thao needed some shots of her flowers…so she and I partnered up creating our very first styled shoot. From our very first meeting, she and I clicked and have watched each other’s businesses grow immensely, cheering for each other every step of the way.
Thao recently moved into a new, larger studio at Lowe Mill and wanted to share her new space and her craft with her amazing audience. Since Thao is the face behind her business, she has always welcomed including images of her and her creating her florals into every shoot we’ve done (we’ve done at least a handful by now together…take a look at her site, it has Gari-Ann Kia all over it!). Doing this ensured that her audience would always know who she was, making her so likable and relatable. In her studio she has an area that holds group classes, a small shop of supplies need to make your own paper florals, a flower bar available for walk in clients, and a consultation area for brides looking for a custom bouquet.
For this newest branding session, Thao wanted to highlight her new line of Craft Boxes. These boxes include all the materials need to begin creating your very own paper flowers. She includes the premium Italian crepe paper and her custom designed flower templates…she even has links to step-by-step video instructions too!
See more of our branding session with Thao in the blog all about her products for her newly branded website. Thao recently rebranded her entire company with the help of Jacki of Huntsville Design House (Jacki’s branding session can be seen here too!).
