Cleanse Beauty Co. is a skincare line that is designed for people with ultra-sensitive skin. When Andrea, the owner of Cleanse Beauty Co., who lives in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, contacted me about doing her product photography, she already had a set of images to use for her e-commerce use. Andrea’s main goal for our project was to create a set of lifestyle images that she could use as secondary images on her product detail pages and throughout her website as custom stock images.
Our shot list for this skincare product shoot:
- Single product images that were minimal, but not on white
- Texture images of each product
- Single product images styled
- Multi-product images styled, to include some of the entire product line
Goals for the customized stock photography
My goal is to provide images that allow my clients to educate their audience well. In order to create images of products that would make sense, I asked Andrea to tell me which products would be used best in the morning, evening, and on a as needed basis, this way she could show which products would be used as a regiment.
Props for Cleanse Beauty Co.’s skincare product shoot
When curating props for the shoot, I kept in mind the word cleanse, wanting to keep everything clean and simple…very spa like.
