Erica is the content creator behind All Things Madison, which showcases all the amazing small businesses & things to do around the Madison, Alabama area. Madison is a suburb of Huntsville, Alabama & has all the feels of a small town…with some amazing big town amenities. 

All Things Madison

Erica wanted to find ways to connect Madison in new ways, by telling the stories about the great things her neighbors were doing. Wanting to be a local resource, All Things Madison strives to be a “one stop shop” for everyone who lives, works, plays, and visits Madison, Alabama. 

Goals for creating content during her brand session

At her brand session, she wanted to capture how she works as a content creator for North Alabama businesses, by creating different types of content–blog, video, photo–for her different publications. She currently runs her website, which is a fantastic resource for the community, along with her social media accounts & weekly newsletters. 

Selecting key locations

We selected a few key locations for her session. Erica selected one of her favorite local businesses that she works with so that we could capture her creating content on location. Another was an office space, allowing us to get her working on creating her digital content. The last location, Downtown Madison, was chosen because it was a recognizable location for her audience. 

I adored working with a like-minded woman! Erica and I could have talked for hours about connecting with other business owners and all the ins and outs of our respective businesses.

I absolutely loved my experience with Gari-Ann! We had two zoom sessions prior to my photography session so that we were on the same page with expectations! I really appreciated the fact that this process was very organized and that Gari-Ann explained her process start-to-finish with me. There were no surprises and my product photos are exactly what I wanted!
