Over the last few months, Maria has really done a great job of honing in on her wellness brand and the marketing efforts that she’s putting behind her business.

Maria’s goals for this branding session

For this session, she really wanted to concentrate on content that she could use for her newsletter. When talking about what she needed from this session, she wanted to capture more lifestyle headshots as well as some of her working and interacting with clients online.

What would you like to talk about with your audience?

One of the first questions I ask myself as a photographer is, “what would my client talk about on social media to their audience?”. Thinking about instagram post captions really helps me form what images we produce at a session. While we were shooting, I asked Maria what was next on the horizon for her, she said that she’s currently putting together a book proposal! WOW!! So of course I wanted to get images of her working on her computer and organizing her thoughts in a notebook.

Gari-Ann currently lives in the Washington DC area with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling with her family, some of their favorite destinations have been Santorini, Wanaka, Paris, & Aix en Provence. In her free time, Gari-Ann enjoys giving back to her community by supporting fellow military spouses & their families and mentoring other small business owners.
