Christina and Jake Mutch are the board certified family medicine physicians behind Defiant Direct Primary Care in Williamsburg, Virginia. They believe that healthcare can be done better by slowing down, removing the distractions, and spending the extra time investing in the doctor-patient relationship.
Connection to the Williamsburg Community
Both Virginia natives, Jake and Christina both met while in school at The College of William and Mary. While on aa outreach trip to the Himalayas to work in a small mountain village. It became clear to them what happens when you remove all the obstacles and distractions and they wanted to serve their clients with a one-on-one experience. Jake and Christina wanted to return to Williamsburg, where they first met, to bring back that small town feel to the medical community.

Much of their brand is centered around living a healthy lifestyle, they teach their patients a lot about living a better lifestyle and eating better. In partnership with Williamsburg Lifestyle Magazine, I had the honor of capturing Jake and Christina in their home, doing what they love doing–cooking healthy food!
