Getting ready to outsource your product photography, but wondering what my process looks like? You can plan on the process being about 4-6 weeks, from inquiry to receiving your final gallery. I put a lot of emphasis into making sure that we plan your session thoroughly, so that when I go to shoot, I’m getting all the images that you’re needing.
As soon as your session is officially booked, I will send you a detailed questionnaire. The answers that you provide in this questionnaire will help us plan your product shoot thoroughly.
We will meet for a planning meeting about a week later, and I will be using what we talk about during this meeting and the answers from your questionnaire to start building a shoot plan. This shoot plan will contain a shot list, mood board, props, locations, and over all timeline of your product shoot.
While you’re preparing & packing your products to be shipped to the studio (please make sure to send your products to the studio about 7-10 days prior to your shoot week), I will be sourcing props & backgrounds to be used for your shoot. You may also send props that you would like to be used for your shoot as well.
I reserve a full week to unpack, organize your products & their corresponding props, and do the fun work of shooting. This is the fun part for me! (*Shoot time may vary depending on the size of your project)
By the end of the following week, you will receive a proofing/download gallery. You will receive a complimentary meeting to review your images and go over the best ways to use your new gallery.
Once your project is complete, I’ll make arrangements for your products to be returned. If you would like me to hold on to your products for future shoots, I’m more than happy to do this as well. I love working with returning clients!!
