While at home in Hawaii this past summer I had a little fun and took some headshots of my parents at their property in Haleiwa, Hawaii. My dad, Kai Waine’e, is a Physical Plant manager at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama. He’s in charge of the campus grounds, overseeing many of its capital projects.

Working with family members is some of the hardest work that I do. It’s hard for me to go into work mode with people that know me on such a personal level, but I truly believe that our family having a nice picture of my parents is so important.
