Branding Storylines & Shot List for a Real Estate Agent

While planning a brand session with real estate agents, it’s always important to highlight what makes them or their team amazing at serving their clients. I work with a lot of realtors around the Southern Maryland and Washington D.C. area and each of them are different in their brands & how they serve their team & clients…and just overall vibe.

During your branding session, we want to make sure to put you in context of the way you provide value to your clients & the environment that you would naturally work in.

Of course this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to your actual shot list, but some common things I will add to the shot list when I on-board a client from the real estate industry. When we meet for your planning session, we go in-depth to plan a session that is customized to your team, audience, & business.

Here are some ideas of storyline, shots, and locations to consider adding to your session.

Here are some ideas for storylines for Realtors & their resulting items on their shot list:

Storylines:

  • Educating clients
  • Behind the scenes of your business
  • Each stream of Income
  • Different parts of your on-boarding process
  • Services provided to your clients
  • Celebrating your clients & team achievements
  • Announcement Images

Depending on how deep into each of these storylines you go, they could be turned into more detailed stories–especially on-boarding, educating, & your services.

Educating your real estate clients

  • Client with map of the area they serve
  • Property  walk through with client
  • Home walk through with team
  • Home improvement-tool box
  • Decor tips–fabric swatches, finishing, fabric/tile/etc. Samples
  • Addressing FAQs
  • Images in different parts of a home/office

Behind the scenes with your real estate team

  • Team collaboration
  • Planning team events/projects
  • Working with laptop, planner
  • Market analysis–printing of graphs, meeting in a conference room
  • All the paperwork!

Each stream of income

If you have another streams of income that you’re currently working on or developing this is a great storyline to highlight your additional service

Different parts of your client on-boarding process

  • Needs analysis- conducting initial consult with a client
  • Realtor with moving boxes
  • Staging a home- decluttering, finishing touches
  • Highlighting some difference between your buying and selling clients

Services provided to your client

  • Working with others in your industry
  • Working with others in construction
  • Walking through a neighborhood
  • Welcoming them into a home

Announcement Images

  • Agents with sold signs
  • Agents with branded marketing materials
  • Images for Holiday purposes

Personal Loves

Let’s add some personal aspects of the things that you love so that your audience feels like they know you as a person.

  • Favorites: Drinks, foods, notebooks, pens, etc.
  • Your family (how ever you’re comfortable), pets count too!

Celebrating your clients & team achievements

  • Champagne
  • Balloons
  • Confetti
  • Gifts

Real estate agent headshots & team images

Each brand session includes group shots of the entire team & individual headshots throughout your session. Other small groupings to consider are shots of the administration team, brokers, and real estate agents. Of course we can do what makes sense for your team and the way you authentically work with your clients.

Locations

Of course we want to put you in the context of the Southern Maryland and Washington D.C. locations you would naturally work in. While looking for a great location, I’m also looking for the ability to have good variety, a well lit area, & indoor/outdoor spaces. Here are some ideas for locations for real estate agents:

  • Studio with a few different areas to work in
  • Model home
  • Home office
  • Broker office
  • Neighborhood
  • Previous client home
