Each quarter, LIV Development creates a high-quality publication called Matter, similar to their online blog, Journals. This large-format magazine serves as a spotlight for their properties, tenants, employees, and the unique amenities they offer. For their upcoming issue, LIV’s publication imagery for their Huntsville condo developer project needed an update, and I was thrilled to help bring their vision to life.
With a focus on storytelling, the publication highlights not just beautiful spaces but also the vibrant community that LIV cultivates. From resident-focused articles to engaging visuals, Matter is an essential resource for fostering connections and showcasing the best of LIV’s properties.
For the Huntsville edition, LIV Development’s publication team needed imagery from their Town Madison location. The session began with a feature on Brody, the on-site barista in the resident clubhouse coffee shop. Beyond capturing Brody in action behind the coffee bar, we took a deeper dive into his personal story.
Brody, an accomplished accordion player, also performs at various locations around Huntsville. Including shots of Brody with his accordion brought a personal, human element to the feature. These images offer a more rounded view of his story, perfectly aligning with the magazine’s mission to showcase the people behind the properties.
The second part of the session focused on a DIY planter project, a perfect feature for spring. Since condo living often limits residents’ gardening space, this article provides creative solutions.
I captured step-by-step images detailing the materials, assembly, and the finished product. Styled shots of the completed planters on small patios and front entries added a visual context to inspire residents. This imagery served as both instructional and aspirational for LIV Development’s readers.
