Karen is the heart, creativity, and boss gal behind Aleen Foral Design, a luxury floral boutique in Yorktown, Virginia. She and her team are committed to bringing events to life through striking colors, textures, unique vessels, and subtle natural elements.
Going into Karen’s professional branding session we had three goals: 1. Marketing images to promote her workshops, 2. Show her working with her team and fill in missing headshots, 3. Create a gallery of stock images for her to use for social media. See all the ways I got this done for her at one of her workshop events:
Looking forward to next year, Karen has many plans in the work for how she wants to grow her studio based floral design business. Adding workshops to her list of services is at the top of that list. She has a love for inviting clients and friends into her studio to teach the craft that she loves dearly. During this shoot we made it a priority to capture her working with her students and keeping in mind marketing images for future workshops.
Karen can’t do everything she does by herself and has a wonderful team backing her up before, during, and after events. We wanted to capture her working with her team members, as well as filling in some gaps for team members who were missing headshots.
For those who are not photographers, it’s always a struggle to have images to share that are on brand. I wanted to create images that I knew Karen could use on her social media to chat about her, her business, the on-goings of the studio, and to market her workshops.
